Top 5 1000hp Supercars at the Geneva Motor Show

Koenigsegg Regera

If the Bugatti Chiron turned heads ever since its inception and eventual debut, another car that has been quietly building its prowess is this – The Koenigsegg Regera. It arrived at Geneva without making a sound and it stunned everyone with its massive specs. Nearly 1500hp, lighter than the Chiron by a 1000 pounds and with over 2000Nm of torque, The Koenigsegg Regera is probably the Bugatti Chiron killer. While the Regera’s stats may not seem as impressive as the Chiron at first glance, it is right there with it. The Regera hits the 0-300kmph mark in a frightening 10.9 seconds, a full 2.6 seconds faster than the Chiron!

The Koenigsegg Regera has a unique feature in that it has no transmission. It features the company’s proprietary ‘Direct Drive’ technology. Simply put, the car starts moving under electric power and when a certain speed is reached, the hydraulic coupling closes to bring the engine into play. And then, there is no looking back.

Koenigsegg Agera Final One of 1

Imagine a limited edition within a limited edition and that is what the Agera Final One of 1 is. A brand new, completely bespoke limited edition model, there will be only 3 cars built and they will be the last of the Agera lineup.

The Koenigsegg Agera Final One of 1 is, according to Koenigsegg, a unique vehicle that will never be duplicated. With many unique, customized and upgraded components, all hand-picked by the company based on the request of the customer The One of 1 is the first car in the Agera Final series. In this particular case, the Agera Final had to be as close as possible to the first Megacar, the One:1. It gets an upgraded 1MW engine, custom designed roof mounted air intakes, titanium exhaust, spoilers, winglets on the front bumper and a whole lot of other parts.

Don’t even ask us how much this exclusive hypercar will cost. It is better left unsaid.
