Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati has released the official images of the Levante SUV. The Maserati Levante is the first SUV from the Italian manufacturer and it is set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. It will be launched in Europe this spring. According to Maserati, the first models of the Levante SUV have rolled off the production launch. The worldwide launch of the Maserati Levante SUV will be later this year.
The Maserati Levante will be powered by gasoline and diesel engine variants according to reports. The engine lineup is reported to include two 2.9 liter gasoline V6 variants and a single 2.9 liter diesel V6. The gasoline engine is expected to generate 430hp while the diesel engine would generate about 275hp. Maserati have not released further details on engine specifications as yet. The transmission will be an eight-speed automatic with all-wheel drive. According to Maserati, the Levante will be produced at the Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy.
