Mahindra e2o Sport Unveiled at Auto Expo 2016

Mahindra has unveiled the e2o Sport at the Auto Expo. The e2o Sport is the sport performance variant of the Mahindra e2o which is a fully electric hatchback. Mahindra e2o Sport is the result of Mahindra’s leading position in the electric vehicle category in India. It is a two door hatchback with a sporty body kit.

Mahindra e2o Sport

Mahindra e2o Sport  is powered by an 80 kW motor that generates 105 kW of power at 12500 rpm. According to Mahindra, the e2o Sport is capable of accelerating from 0 – 100 kmph in 8 seconds. The e2o Sport has a  top speed of 120 kmph. The maximum range of the electric vehicle is 200 km when it is fully charged. The battery pack comprises of a high voltage 384V square steel lithium-ion battery.

Mahindra e2o Sport  measures 3453mm in length, 1564mm in width and 1508mm in height. The wheelbase is 2064mm. The weight of the car is 1189.5kg. Mahindra e2o Sport has a sporty body kit that includes a front bumper, side skirts and a roof mounted spoiler.

Mahindra e2o Sport  has blackened 12-inch spoke alloy wheels with flared wheel arches. It has a black roof, black door handles and black external rear view mirrors. The hatchback gets bucket seats and a rear diffuser to complete the sporty package.
