It’s built from ground up to be the most exciting next-generation adventure tourer. 2016 Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z combines Yamaha’s Dakar-bred toughness and reliability with light and easy handling along with advanced rider assist technology into a strong package.

2016 Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z brings a 60th Anniversary paint scheme. The 2016 model comes ready for adventure with a 1199cc parallel-twin engine with wide-ratio 6 speed transmission, a 3-level traction control, anti-lock braking system (ABS), unified braking system (UBS), cruise control and tunable suspension.


The Super Tenere ES model features electronically controlled suspension which helps you choose from pre-loaded settings for the type of ride that you are embarking on. It also brings an adjustable seat and windshield.

In addition to the 60th Anniversary paint scheme it is also available in black or ‘Raven’ color scheme. 2016 Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z anniversary model does not feature electronic suspension. The 2016 Yamaha Tenere retails at $15,090 (Raven), or $15,590 (60th Anniversary Yellow).
