Ferrari 488 GTB to be Launched in India on 25 February

The Ferrari 488 GTB is Maranello’s definitive mid-engine, internal combustion, turbo-charged supercar. Now, the 488 GTB is to be launched in India at a price of ₹3.88 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). After Ferrari launched the California T hard-top convertible in the country in 2015, the Italian luxury sportscar maker is looking to launch its second foray into the country with the 488 GTB. The car will be launched in Mumbai on February 25. The 458 GTB, the car that the 488 GTB is replacing was loved by fans and enthusiasts. It was the most comfortable and mid-engined everyday supercar. It was sensational to drive, and the 488 GTB is expected to carry the tradition and reputation of the Prancing Horse forward.

The 488 GTB is powered by a turbocharged modest 3.9 liter engine that makes 652 bhp that helps the car to achieve the 0-100kmph mark in 3 seconds. The 488 GTB is turbocharged with an eye on what comes out of the tailpipe. While turbocharging works wonders for fuel efficiency and 0-100kmph times, this Ferrari’s reputation preceeds it. Orders have already been accepted for the 488 GTB.
