Crazy British Superbikes Racing at Brands Hatch Circuit!

Motorcycle racing can be spectacularly impressive at times. Remember the fight between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo at Catalunya 2009? Or Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi at Silverstone 2015. The list goes on and on. British Superbike riders Tommy Hill and John Hopkins duel it out in the race at Brands Hatch 2011. Whoever finished on top would be crowned the 2011 British Superbike Champion. The final lap of these British Superbikes racing at Brands Hatch is exhilarating.

In the video you will see Hill and Hopkins pass each other multiple times, before making it an all out drag to the line. Flat out and fearless, that is the way the final few laps can be described. Tommy Hill beats John Hopkins by 6000ths of a second (0.0006 seconds), which is one of the closest finishes in motorcycle racing. With his second place finish at Brands Hatch, Hill became the 2011 British Superbike Champion. The fact that Hill and Hopkins raced each other hell-for-leather, without a hint of controversy or bad riding is the highlight of the fight.
