This 1905 Fiat maybe ancient, but it can hit a stunning 127 mph (204 kmph) top speed, thanks to its airship engine. Yes, you read that right! The engine is a massive Isotta Fraschini engine sourced from a World War One airship. Insane 1905 FIAT with an airship engine is one of the best things you will see today.
The engine makes about 250 horsepower, but generates about 4067 Nm (3000 lb-ft) of torque, says Mike Vardy, the owner of the car. The car is large and long. With such a massive amount of torque, this car can spin the rear wheel without any problems. Vardy claims that a set of rubber can last him just 6 minutes. It is hard to determine if he is serious or not about it, but it is easy to see his seriousness when he drives the Fiat. Many people said that the car would never work, but Vardy proved them wrong.
Check out the video and see for yourself how Vardy smokes those flimsy tires and leaves a trail doing so.
