Audi A4 Unveiled at 2016 Auto Expo

Audi has unveiled the fifth generation A4 at the Auto Expo 2016. The new A4 retains the design philosophy of its predecessor.  The 2016 A4 has an aesthetically pleasing design and offers new features in comfort, safety, entertainment and efficiency. The 2016 Audi A4 is expected to be powered by a 2.0 liter TFSI petrol engine that produces 190 hp and 320 Nm of torque, and a 2.0 liter TDI diesel engine that produces 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque.

The petrol variant comes with a S-tronic transmission and can achieve the 0-100 kmph mark in 7.3 seconds. Top speed is 240 kmph. The diesel variant achieves the 0-100 kmph mark in 7.7 seconds and has a top-speed of 210 kmph. The Audi A4 showcased at the expo houses a powerful 3.0 liter V6 TDI engine with a power output of 272 hp.

The 2016 Audi A4 is 4726mm long, 1824mm wide and 1427mm tall. The length, width and wheelbase have been increased by 25mm, 16mm and 12mm respectively. The new A4 is upto 120 kgs lighter than the previous model.


The A4 features the Audi Virtual Cockpit with 12.3 inch LCD screen, colour head-up display, Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system with 19 speakers and 16 channel 755 watt amplifier. It also features a MMI Navigation and infotainment system with a 8.3 inch screen, MMI touch, voice control and a smartphone interface. It also comes packed with safety features for a safe driving experience.
