The Aston Martin DB11 photos have been leaked ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. The first image of the DB11 was leaked a while ago. The new photos look neat and professional, so we cannot help but think they are factory images. The images show the Aston Martin DB11 in its full personality, combining a futuristic look with traditional Aston Martin design. Check out the Aston Martin DB11 pictures!
The Aston Martin DB11 is to replace the outgoing DB9 and will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1st. Aston Martin has formed a partnership with Mercedes-AMG for engines. The electric and electronic parts will also be carried over from Mercedes models. This is the first Aston Martin that has a turbo charged engine. The previous Aston Martin cars were naturally aspirated, but the DB11 deviates from tradition. It gets a 5.2 liter V12 engine with twin-turbo. It could also be equipped later with a smaller 4.0 liter V8 engine that develops around 510hp from the C63 AMG S. How will Aston Martin fans and enthusiasts feel about it is anybody’s guess, but it looks like it is time for the British carmaker to embrace the future and make relevant changes.
The leaked images showcase the exterior of the Aston Martin DB11 fully and are quite conclusive. However, there are not any photos of the interior. Expect there to be some Mercedes components onboard, such as the steering wheel, command controller and the infotainment system’s display. We will know for sure in a little while, when the DB11 emerges from under the covers at the Geneva Motor Show.
Aston Martin has also announced successors for the Vantage and Vanquish models due to arrive before 2018.
