2017 Lincoln Continental Gets Consumers Interested

The 2017 Lincoln Continental has got just what it needs to be a hit among customers — A strong fan base and nearly 40,000 people who have laid down deposits for the brand’s upcoming Continental sedan. The number may not be big, especially when you compare it with over 250,000+ people who reserved an EV. But, this is a luxury sedan and quite a looker at that! Lincoln has spent considerable time and effort in building it.

But according to Dan Marks, Chairman, Lincoln National Dealer council, “This is the most buzz I’ve seen in a long, long time.”

Linclon has topped 100,000 sales in 2015, according to reports released by the company. The luxury brand of Ford has been riding on a wave of increased consumer interest in 2016. The last time Lincoln came to selling 100,000 cars was way back in 2008. It would not be exaggerating to say that its revival has been overdue for some time now. Much of Lincoln’s demand and sales boost can be harked back to the strong demand for crossovers with the MKX and the SUVs such as the Lincoln Navigator. 2017 Lincoln Continental will make it an exciting year for Lincoln. Relaunching their Continental sedan has certainly resulted in greater interest in the brand in the past few months.

2017 Lincoln Continental Sedan

Lincoln will go all out on its marketing strategies for the Continental sedan. According to the company, extensive pre-launch activities have been planned. While it is not assured if all that consumer interest translates to sales, we will know soon. The 2017 Lincoln Continental can be the next big thing for the company, or it might be something that would want to be forgotten as soon as possible. Either way, we will know.
