The iconic Camaro was launched on September 26th, 1966. The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro celebrates the 50th anniversary of the model with a special Edition model. The Chevrolet Camaro 50th Anniversary special edition model adds extra style for the iconic model. The package is available on coupes and convertibles with the 2SS trim or the 2LT – where it also includes the RS Appearance Package.
The special edition model of the Camaro comes in a Nightfall Gray Metallic shade. It accentuates the model’s sharper lines. The droptop models get a black roof. There are orange stripes on the hood. A matching shade has been given for the brake calipers. The orange stripes and the orange calipers add some extra color to the overall dark appearance of the Camaro. The special edition vehicles get a front splitter and a mesh grille that has a satin chrome trim. The wheels are 20-inch alloys. The 50th anniversary badge sits at the center of the rims. There are also numerous other badges around the Camaro that commemorate the 50th anniversary of the car.
On the interior, the 50th anniversary Special edition Camaro gets black leather with suede inserts and orange stitching. 50th anniversary logos can be seen on the instrument panel, the seatbacks, steering wheel and the illuminated sill plates.
The 50th Anniversary Chevrolet Camaro models will go on sale in summer. Prices will be announced as the sales date approaches.
