Renault Scenic Picture Leaked Ahead of 2016 Geneva Motor Show

The Renault Scenic has been leaked ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. While the Scenic is supposed to be unveiled officially at the Geneva Motor Show, a leaked image has been doing the rounds on the web. In what appears to be a mistake, an image of the Renault Scenic was posted on the official website of the Geneva Motor Show. While the image has been taken down, it did not stop us auto-stalkers from getting the scoop.

From the image, we can make out that the upcoming Renault Scenic borrows design cues from the R-Space Concept that was unveiled last year. The new Scenic gets a prominent front fascia with a slender grill that houses a big Renault insignia. A sculpted hood, unique shoulder lines, gloss black upper body, chrome accents and two-tone alloys give the Scenic that distinctive look which helps it stand out from the crowd.

The Renault Scenic is built on the same CMF architecture as the Renault Megane. It is likely that the power unit will be shared too. While Renault has not confirmed official numbers for the power unit, it is estimated that its power output would be between 90-205hp for different engine variants.

The new Renault Scenic will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on the 1st of March.  We need to wait until then for more information.
